The Bhimashankar Trek is a delight for people who truly love nature. Located in the Western Ghats, this trek takes you through beautiful streams, dense forests and wooden bridges. Covering breathtaking vistas that offer a picturesque view of the Sahyadris, it ensures an unforgettable experience.

 

It also provides you with a chance to spot some truly unique and magnificent birds and animals in their natural habitat. While the monsoon is the best season for this trek, it can also be done in other seasons.

DAY 1
From Wadeshwar
You will be picked up from Wadeshwar, FC road at 6:00 am or from Nashik Phata at 6:30 am. After travelling for three and a half hours, you will reach Bhorgiri by 9:30 am. The breakfast will be served en route to Bhrogiri. After reaching Bhorgiri, you can have some time to relax and prepare for the trek. The trek starts at 10:00 am and takes you through dense forest and rocky patches. Upon reaching Bhimashankar, you will be delighted with a panoramic view of the Sahyadri Ranges. After spending some time relaxing and exploring the area, you will start your trek back to Bhorgiri. If time permits, you can visit the Bhorgad fort. Upon reaching Bhorgiri, start your journey back to Pune.
